BARBARA PEARL
Barbara Pearl, international speaker and author of Math in Motion: Origami in the Classroom K-8, is recognized around the world for her inspiring and motivational programs that promote a "positive message" about learning. Featured on national television and in Creative Classroom, Barbara installed the first Origami Exhibit at The Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia, PA. She has traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe and is the recipient of numerous grants and awards. Winner of the the 1997 "Ezra Jack Keats" Award from the Los Angeles County Libraries for "Program of the Year," Ms. Pearl has been distinguished as an "excellent instructor with a true love of her subject and a gift for knowing her audience."
